When we refer to ‘Aimee Provence’ in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to Aimee Provence Pty Ltd. Aimee Provence is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Australian Information Commissioner Act 2010(AIC Act), the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) and the Freedom of Information Act 1982(FOI Act). Because we gather certain types of information about our users and patrons, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. Competition Rules & Policies
Prizes must be claimed within 7 days of the announcement and can take up to 30 days to be delivered from date of claim. Competitions & Vouchers are only valid for 1 month from the competition date. All prizes for complimentary High TEA at Aimee Provence are subject to availability & booking is essential. Competitions & voucher winners are only available Tuesday – Friday unless stated otherwise. Users who post profanities, defamatory or liable comments will be expelled from our social media website and digital marketing platforms, and they will be no longer entitled to claim a prize even if they have been announced as the winner. If a prize winner has been disqualified, we will pick a new winner for the prize in question. Our competitions and prizes are awarded in good faith. Prizes not valid for special events (ie Melbourne Cup, public holidays and Christmas seasons, etc…) unless otherwise stated.
High Tea Cancellation Policy
For all high tea reservations, we do require credit card details at the time of booking as the restaurant does have an on-the-day cancellation policy. This policy states that if you are to cancel your reservation or drop in numbers on the day of your arrival, the restaurant may charge $30 per person as a food wastage fee. Any cancellations or adjustments to your reservation made before the day of your arrival do not incur this fee.
Gift vouchers purchased online or in-store will be fully redeemed if the person/persons fail to confirm their high tea reservation or fail to attend their high tea booking.
Social Media Policy
Users who post profanities, defamatory or liable comments will have their comments deleted from our social media and digital marketing platforms, and the user in question may be banned from making any further posts to our social media pages or digital marketing platforms.

Electronic newsletters (Dispatches) We will offer a free electronic newsletter to users. Aimee Provence gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. The subscription for our newsletter implements a double opt-in system to ensure that you actively decide to subscribe to our newsletter.
Surveys Aimee Provence may occasionally conduct user surveys to better target our content to our audience. We use the aggregated demographic information in these surveys only internally. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party.
Promotion Aimee Provence may occasionally conduct promotion with rewards that involve the collection of data and personal opinion regarding the brand in order to identify a winner. This data may be used in our marketing communication if specified in the terms and condition of each promotion.
Usage Tracking
Aimee Provence tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Aimee Provence sometimes tracks and catalogues the search terms that users use to reach our website, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. Aimee Provence uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates. Aimee Provence uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalised elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. We send out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (depending on the newsletter), and occasionally send out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. By attending any Aimee Provence restaurant, you agree that we can take photographs of you & your guests, being adults or children.
You agree by attending Aimee Provence restaurants and/or events, that you/your image (moving or still) may be photographed/taken & may be used in Aimee Provence marketing material, multimedia material, social media sites or any other hard copy or digital format (collectively the images).
